Being Part of a Musical Masquerade

Music and the Arts are so very important. I am happy to have the opportunity to share my quilted art, possibly make someone smile, inspire and help raise funds for Youth Music Illinois.

Hug it, throw it, punch it... set it on a pedestal as it is ART, on the couch for decor.
Texture Theme Quilted Ball - Hug it, throw it... set it on a pedestal as it is ART, decor on the couch!

One of my latest creations: an exclusive texture themed quilted ball will be available at the silent auction for upcoming Youth Music Illinois - A Musical Masquerade.

Youth Music Illinois provides children in our local community with life-impacting experiences. The program goals are to stimulate educationally, develop musically, and shape students into community-supporting citizens.

The benefit fundraiser they have each Spring helps to raise funds and awareness of their mission. This year the theme is A Musical Masquerade - exploring the beauty and musical importance of masquerades. The event is Friday, March 1, 2019 at the Life Together Center in Peoria.

A Musical Masquerade features a variety of exciting activities including a silent auction, (look for Really Design, and bid high 😊,) raffles, wine & craft beer tasting by Hy-Vee Sheridan Village, and performances by the Youth Music Illinois student musicians. Catering by A Matter of Taste.

Their goal is to raise $20,000 this year, which will go to support orchestral and educational programs for student musicians throughout Central Illinois. I am happy to be a part of this event by donating to the Silent Auction. For more info see - YouthMusicIllinois.org
